UNC ESHELMAN · CLASS OF 2027TARGET PRODUCT PROFILE / THE PROFESSIONAL FORMULATION
CAREER POSITIONING · XL–2027My direction is commercial strategy in oncology: bringing a clinical foundation, patient-centered research, and entrepreneurial judgment to questions about evidence, access, and customer needs.
SIX CORE ATTRIBUTES
Open an attribute to explore how I would bring it to strategic work.
Start with the lived treatment experience.
My oral chemotherapy monitoring research gives me a practical view of the challenges patients face between clinic visits and the role of support services.
Questions I bring: Where does the patient journey become difficult, and what support could address that need?
P3OC research · UNC Medical Center ↗Make the evidence useful.
Pharmacy training and medical communications experience help me interpret clinical evidence and translate complex information for different audiences.
Questions I bring: What does the evidence support, where are its limits, and why does it matter to the audience?
UNC PharmD training · IQVIA externship ↗Look beyond the prescription.
Specialty pharmacy experience introduced me to coverage requirements, prior authorization, refill coordination, and practical barriers to medication use.
Questions I bring: What may prevent a patient from starting or continuing therapy? This experience is transferable to oncology.
UNC Specialty and Home Delivery Pharmacy ↗Build insight from careful work.
Retrospective chart reviews, data cleaning, and descriptive analysis have strengthened my ability to organize complex information and interpret it carefully.
Questions I bring: What can the data tell us, what is missing, and what should we investigate next?
P3OC research · Hundreds of chart reviews ↗Listen, decide, and take ownership.
Co-owning a consumer business handling approximately 800–2,000 monthly orders gave me experience responding to customer needs and balancing demand with execution.
Questions I bring: What matters to the customer, and how should that inform priorities? My experience comes from a consumer business.
Business co-owner · 2019–2025 ↗Connect the work across disciplines.
Research, regulatory affairs, pharmacy practice, and communications have introduced me to different responsibilities across a medicine’s development and use.
Questions I bring: Whose perspective is missing, and what does each team need to make a sound decision?
Bostal · UNC · IQVIA · Keio University ↗MECHANISM OF IMPACT
An illustrative thinking framework, informed by my experience.
What does the evidence mean for the people making decisions?
Scientific fluencyWhat stands between a prescription and treatment initiation?
Access awarenessWhere could monitoring and support improve the care experience?
Patient-centered researchWhich needs merit further investigation and cross-functional action?
